SLEIPNIR: The Eight Legged Horse

The eight-legged horse known as Sleipnir is most often ridden by the Norse god Odin. He is the offspring of the horse Svadilfari, a member of the jötunn who constructed Asgard's walls, and the god Loki (in the shape of a mare). In honour of the horse, Icelanders call the glacier canyon sbyrgi Sleipnir's Footprint.
